About the Artist
Marie Miller is from St. Louis, Missouri. She started drawing and creating at a very early age. She studied fine art at Regis University and Denver University.
After college Marie moved back to St. Louis and took a position with the family business for more than 10 years. When she left the family business it led to her owning and operating several small businesses.
Marie discovered her latest artistic passion, metalsmithing, while making pieces as presents for friends and family members. She then started doing art shows and eventually led to her devoting full time to her art. She is now a jewelry metalsmith working primarily in copper. She also works in sterling and fine silver, bronze and brass.
Her other favorite mediums include leathercraft, fine beadwork and drawing and paper craft. Every piece Marie creates is a one-of-a-kind creation.
